I love meeting women in ministry and hearing their stories. From women who just started to women who have served a long time. Each story is unique…each story is very personal. Each story starts with a heart that says “Yes” to God. Wherever you are on this journey… You may be in a season of great joy and fruitfulness…or you may be in a season of “not yet”… still waiting for God to fulfill what only He can do. Today, I pray for you that you will rest in these words from Philippians 1:6 ” Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” “Dear Lord, As we see all the obstacles, as we see all the opportunities…You are still at work. What You have started…You will continue to perform. When we get news that unsettles our peace…We believe that You are still at work and are not finished with us yet. When we feel like we don’t have what it takes to serve in this mighty plan that You have, may we stop and re-claim this wonderful promise…that You who have begun this good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Please encourage our friends in ministry today to trust You…to believe You…and to rest in this precious promise. You are not going to let us down. You will finish what You have started.”
